Effective immediately, any phone upgrades or replacement orders must be placed with Nextel directly by calling 1-888-566-6199. Dealers are no longer able to assist you with equipment upgrades. Phone pricing will be at the non-promotional price or reduced pricing with a contract extension. A $35.00 processing fee will be added to all phone-upgrade purchases.
You may also check nextel.com for other upgrade/trade-in programs that may be available. However, offers found on the internet must be completed on the internet. Customer Care or the upgrade hotline will not honor any promotions or offers provided on the nextel.com website.

Hello I am new this but I have a question I am soon to be in hawaii and am in need of another nextel phone. I lost my other one and I have talked to a nextel operator and they said to find a place in Honolulu where I can restart my service and get a new phone. My service right now is Idle. So if I could get any info on this subject it would be greatly appreciated since I will not be in town for very long. I am due in town in two days...
